Our group pioneered the first integrated MZI biosensor based on silicon nitride technology back in the 90’s. Since then, we have been offering many other innovative sensing solutions. Nowadays, our pioneering Bimodal Waveguide (BiMW) interferometer is positioned at the forefront of the state-of-the-art in nanophotonics label-free sensing technologies. The groundbreaking BiMW biosensor is fabricated at large scale and has demonstrated a superior sensitivity, trustworthiness and robustness as compared to other silicon-based nanophotonic sensors. Current effort focuses on the lab-on-a-chip integration by realizing photonic integrated nanosensing circuits for multiplexed, label-free, and real-time analysis with outstanding performances.
