The NanoB2A Group develops highly interdisciplinary research, covering the general area of nanobiotechnology. Our objectives are directed to the achievement of novel nanobiosensor devices based on Nanoplasmonics and Silicon Nanophotonics, and their application in real life scenarios providing clinical and environmental relevant sensitivity. The main aim of our research is the complete implementation of our sensing technology in fully-operative and reliable devices, following the way of their technological transfer from academia to industry. We use biophotonics to surpass limits from lab to point-of-use, offering innovative solutions and shaping the future in diagnostics.
