Promotion of global healthcare through advanced diagnostics and personalized therapies is an imperative goal for both the scientific community and worldwide administrations and organizations. We are developing innovative solutions based on photonic biosensors to address this issue. For that, we devote a major research effort in the direct transfer of our powerful biosensor technologies to the clinical and biomedical field. We demonstrate and validate our biosensors for the diagnosis and prediction of the progression of cancer and other disease states by the analysis of disease-related biomarkers, including proteins, nucleic acids, small peptides, drugs, or bacteria for point-of-care diagnostics. Further, we account with pioneering advances in biosensor development for epigenomic and cell regulation analysis in order to understand cell processes at the molecular level and to diagnose diseases earlier and better.
